- 1 cup oatmeal (whole grain, NOT instant, the good stuff in the round paper box)
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1/4 cup molasses
- 1 tsp. salt
- 2 tsp. baking soda
- 1/2 tsp. nutmeg
- 1 tsp. canela
- 1/2 tsp. ginger
- 1/2 tsp. ground cloves
- 1 Tbsp. vanilla extract
- 1 Tbsp. brandy extract
- 2 cups skim milk (or water)
- 3 bananas (very ripe, mashed)
- 1/2 cup raisins
- 1/2 cup dried plums (cut into small pieces)
- 1/2 cup Mrs. Butterworth syrup (poured on top before baking IF you want it sweeter) (Mrs. Butterworth, poured on top before baking IF you want it sweeter)
