This is my simple simple and basic, yet delicious chicken and dumplings of course you can fancy it up and make a bone broth and home made dumplings (which are super easy btw), however this is simple, classic American cooking yes it's retro, but sometimes simple is best! Yes I do add celery, carrots and onions, always! my personal preference, plus it rounds out the meal!
