My french Canadian grandmother always had a jar of pickled eggs in her fridge
and I'd like to think she made them just for me. :) When I was little we visited her and the first thing I would do after giving her a hug was to run to the fridge to grab a pickled egg. The only addition I made was to sprinkle peppercorns in the jar, that is what she had in hers and they taste exactly like the ones she made. Great memory for me.
