- 2 stalks celery (with a few leaves, cut in 2-3 inch pieces)
- 2 large carrots (scrubbed and cut into 3-inch chunks)
- 2 parsnips (scraped and cut in chunks)
- 1/3 cup minced fresh parsley
- 4 sprigs fresh dill (broken in half)
- 2 tsp. whole peppercorns
- 1/2 cup water (or use chicken broth)
- 2 Tbsp. oil
- 1 cup cracker crumbs (soda, or as needed)
- 1/4 tsp. baking powder
- 3/4 tsp. salt
- 1 pinch black pepper
- 2 large eggs (lightly beaten)
