- 29 oz. tomato sauce
- 2 Tbsp. brown sugar (enough to balance out the tartness of tomatoes)
- 1 1/2 tsp. basil
- 1 1/2 tsp. oregano
- 1 tsp. thyme
- 2 bay leaves
- 2 cups dry elbow macaroni (prepared al dente and drained.)
