- 19 oz. brats (JOHNSONVILLE® Original)
- 1 Tbsp. unsalted butter
- medium onion (sliced)
- Granny Smith apple (cored and wedged)
- 1 cup red skinned potatoes (unpeeled and cubed)
- 1 cup sauerkraut
- 1 cup chicken broth
- 1 tsp. caraway seed
- 1 cup beer (choice)
- salt
- 1 cup sliced green onions

Directions
- Preheat oven to 350°F.
- Place brats in a flameproof casserole dish; brown and fully cook on stovetop over medium-high heat; remove and set aside. Alternatively, cook brats according to package instructions if the proper casserole dish is unavailable.
- To the same casserole dish, add the butter, onion and apple; cook over medium-high heat for about 5 minutes until onion is tender.
- Add the potatoes, sauerkraut, broth, caraway seed and beer; stir to combine. Add brats back to the casserole dish; season to taste with salt and pepper.
- Bake covered until warmed through and liquid is reduced; about 45 minutes to 1 hour. Sprinkle with green onions.
