- 3/4 cup celery (thinly sliced, about 3 stalks)
- 3/4 cup yellow onion
- 1/2 medium onion
- 3/4 cup green bell pepper (about 1 small pepper)
- 4 cloves garlic
- 1/2 tsp. cayenne pepper
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 3 cups broth (low sodium veggie)
- 1 zucchini squash (large, Cubed)
- 14.5 oz. chickpeas (garbanzo beans drained, rinsed, and skins removed, optional)
- 1 cup okra (sliced, I used frozen, fresh should work too)
- 2 tsp. gumbo file (optional)
- green onion (optional garnish)
- cooked brown rice (serving suggestion)
