We bbq tri-tip all the time and love it, so were a little skeptical about this cut in the oven, but it was absolutely fantastic!! As stated in the directions, you may not have a lot of cooked juices to use for the gravy, but after we sliced the meat we used the juice run-off from that to flavor the gravy more. My whole family called it a keeper!
