- 12 slices Italian bread (you can also use croissants, brioche, challah or even donuts if you want to go crazy Best if they are left out overnight to stale)
- 1 1/2 cups Nutella
- 2 bananas (optional)
- 2 cups light cream
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 1 tsp. vanilla extract
- 1 cup sugar
- 3 eggs
- 3/4 cup chopped walnuts
- confectioners sugar (for Dusting)

Directions
- Make sandwiches using bread and nutella (also slice up bananas and add them if desired)
- Cut up sandwiches into 2 inch squares and put them into a lightly greased baking dish.
- In a saucepan over medium heat, combine cream, salt and vanilla until warm. Do not boil.
