This is not a joke! Absolutely delicious! Light and fluffy like whipped cream. I cut the recipe in half to frost an 8x8 chocolate cake and had plenty for a creamy, dreamy layer of goodness! The milk and flour came together on the stove in about 3 minutes, then I whipped the butter and sugar using a handheld mixer with a whisk attachment for about 7 minutes. Hubby loved it too...goodbye Buttercream, hello MY new favorite frosting!

The method weirded me out a bit but I followed the instructions perfectly and it turned out great! Texture was very light and airy, was perfect on the rich chocolate cake I made.

This frosting recipe is a breeze to make. The hardest part is wisking the milk/flour mixture and that’s about it. It turned out great. This is my new go to frosting.

This is the best frosting I've ever made! Not heavy like buttercream-- very light and airy and so so good!
