- 1 5/16 lb. chicken (or 6 Chicken Drumsticks)
- 2 tsp. chili powder (adjust to taste. It was spicy)
- Garam Masala (recipe below)
- 2 tsp. coriander powder
- 3/4 tsp. salt
- 1 Tbsp. anardana (Dry Pomegranate Seeds, powdered)
- 1/2 cup yogurt
- 1/4 tsp. cardamom seeds
- 4 cloves
- 5 black peppercorns
- 1/2 cinnamon stick
- 1/2 tsp. jeera (Shah, Caraway Seeds, I was out of it and used cumin powder which I listed under curry)
- 3 Tbsp. oil
- 2 bay leaves
- 4 cardamoms
- 4 cloves
- 1/2 cinnamon stick
- 1 onion (medium sized, chopped or ¾ cup chopped Onion)
- 3 green chilies (small, cut into 3 pieces. I used 3 chilies)
- 2 Tbsp. ginger garlic paste
- 1/4 tsp. cumin seeds (roasted, Powder)
- 1/4 tsp. turmeric powder
- 1 tsp. chili powder (Kashmiri, optional and I used it for color)
- salt (to taste and mind you marinade already has some salt)
- cilantro leaves (Fresh Kothmir, for garnish, optional)
