These were delicious and easy to make however I did do things a little differently and it worked out perfect.
The other day I made homemade mounds bars. The only difference was I rolled them into a round shape vs. rectangles. These are so delicious.
How I Made My Homemade Mounds Balls
-1 bag of sweetened shredded coconut
-1/2 teaspoon salt (or another flaked sea salt)
-1 can of sweetened condensed milk (8 oz)
-2 bags of semisweet chocolate chips
Mix first three ingredients together and let it sit in an 8x8 pan in the freezer for about 30 mins.
Melt chocolate chips in microwave in 30 seconds intervals until smooth.
Remove coconut mixture from freezer and roll into balls.
Dip coconut balls into the chocolate and then let it sit on a parchment lined cookie sheet at room temperature for about 2 hours before serving.
