It actually came out quite nice. 🙂🙂 I didn't fry the eggs, but made nests in the lentil dish, broke the eggs into it, covered them with a little bit of cheese and simmer with a lid on until done. Delicious. ✨🌻

It wasn't super flavourful. It was missing some acid, salt and heat. I added more spices, put in some salt and lemon and it tasted ok.

Nice easy dish to prepare and quite nutritious. I used only 1/2 a tsp of smoked paprika and that was more than enough it’s very pungent

Great recipe but be prepared to have a lot of leftovers if you prepare it as written. I had a quarter of cooked lentils left that would have over flowed the other ingredients. I used a can of diced tomatoes rather than fresh and it tasted just fine. I googled Moroccan spice recipe because my local store didn’t have this premade. Was easy to make that too. Last pay attention to the directions because it doesn’t tell you when to put the garlic in.
