Deliciously tangy. It would be great over rice. I would double the recipe though!

Interesting, interesting. Just I used lemon juice instead of preserved lemon.
I have a bit of enough of chickpeas for this week, so I will maybe do it one more time in the future after I forget how it is to eat too much chickpeas.
At the next day: as I expected, it’s very good after staying for night.

Made the soup without the parsley or lemon (didn't have either on hand) and it was DELICIOUS. It's fast, fairly healthy, and made with stuff I always have in my pantry/on hand. Perfect for a hearty winter dinner. Definitely will be making this again and again.

This was very yummly but not hot enough for my family so we added a little bit harissa for an extra kick. I didn't have preserved lemon either so we just grated in some rind from a fresh lemon. Next time I am making a double batch!
