- 1 lb. chicken breasts (or 2 medium pieces, boneless skinless, cut into 1-inch cubes)
- 1/8 tsp. sea salt
- 1/4 tsp. black pepper
- 1 tsp. sesame oil (divided)
- 6 oz. gluten (uncooked 1/4" inch thick, free dried rice noodles found in the Asian aisle of the grocery store - or feel free to use your favorite noodles or dried pasta)
- 3 Tbsp. olive oil (divided)
- 3 cups broccoli florets
- 1/2 cup grated carrots
- 1/2 bell pepper (cut into thin strips)
- 3 cloves garlic (minced)
- 1/2 tsp. minced fresh ginger (or grated)
- 1/2 cup low sodium soy sauce
- 3 Tbsp. brown sugar (packed)
- 2 Tbsp. hoisin sauce
- 2 Tbsp. cornstarch
- 2/3 cup water (plus more as needed to thin out sauce)
- 1/2 tsp. red chili flakes (or Sriracha sauce optional, to taste)
- toasted sesame seeds (for garnish, optional)
- thinly sliced green onions (for garnish, optional)

Delicious easy and so tasty! A winner for my husband. Unfortunately I didn’t use low sodium soy sauce so mine was way too salty 🥴
Made a second time and next time I will use half the amount of soy and possibly omit the Hoisan sauce. Sauce Gets quite gelatinous. May use egg noodles next time also.
