The sauce would not thicken and chicken was difficult to brown woth out drying it out

I have made this twice. The only comment I have is that you need to taste the sauce and make sure you thicken the sauce properly.

Easy to make. A bit too salty. I did decrease the sugar as another review suggested. Taste the sauce as you go to adjust saltiness.

Awesome freaking awesome. Had the kid going back for seconds. No addition or subtractions made. I mean I added siracha when it was in my bowl but i loved it as is

Wonderful I also made it with jasmine rice, with sautéed onions and peas and carrots. Will make it again😊

Really good! As an another user suggested - it’s better to start from chicken. (Mine was not so dark as on the photo.)
A bit too complicated. With this cornstarch etc.

1 word, banging! Didnt use as much sugar as the recipe called for as sounded like far too much. I used around 2 tablespoons. Reducing the sauce before coating the chicken worked really well. If you have the space make the sauce in a seperate pan and cook the chicken simultaneously to save some time! Will be making again for sure

Pretty good. It took a while for the chicken to cook. Maybe I should have deep- fried it. The recipe didn't call for how much oil to put in to saute.

It was very tasty but the sauce did not stick to the chicken as I had hoped. The cornstarch coating was interesting, but I think I should have used some of the cornstarch with the sauce. I plan to make it again. I cooked chicken in batches and so some of the chicken stayed in the ziplock bag longer than 10 minutes this impacted the coating. I have so many ideas on how to get better results.
Rice and stir fry snow peas, mushrooms & red onions were my sides.

OMG this is so good my chicken wasn’t crispy like the picture but it was still delicious. I added broccoli and doubled on the sauce (literally drowning in sauce) lol. I added more sugar because I like my sauce on the sweet side. This was quick , easy , and a delicious dish to make.

It was really good! And simple to make. We loved it. I added some carrot chips and snap peas at the end. still had some cruch to them but was excellent addition to get my veggies in.

YUMMY! We just had this for dinner. I added a little red pepper flakes for a little heat. Will be making this again and often!
