Roast finished way early cuz of all the liquid. Veggies needed more time so will throw them in all at once next time and use less liquid. Good flavor though.

Veggies needed more time, would add much less liquid if I used this recipe again and would put in crockpot instead of “roasting”. Tasted boiled because of all the liquid ...

Very good. Should have cooked a little less, came close to being over cooked. everyone's crockpot cooks differently.

It was delicious! I seared the meat first then cooked it in the crockpot. Put the potatoes, celery, carrots & bay leaf in the crockpot, added the seared meat then 32 oz of beef stock and topped the crockpot off with water. Cooked low for 8 hours and the meat was so tender! The potatoes held up. Thickened the sauce as per the directions. Everything was perfect!

This took so much longer to cook than the directions said. My roast was bigger but even the veggies and potatos took much longer. It it tasts good, needs more salt (alot), I probably wont use this recipe again.

Smelled really good while cooking. Def needs more then the suggested cook time to make sure all of the vegetables cook in properly.
