- 1 onion (medium, cut into large chunks)
- 2 ribs (celery, cut in large chunks)
- 3 cups sliced carrot (coins, I like to slice almost a 1/4" thick, on the diagonal)
- 2 cups celery (sliced, if there are leaves at the top of the ribs use them)
- 1 1/2 cups onions (chopped)
- 1 Tbsp. dried parsley
- 1 1/2 tsp. salt (Penzey's, Free Mural of Flavor)
- 1 1/2 tsp. kosher salt
- 1/2 tsp. ground black pepper
- 1 1/2 tsp. savory (dried)
- 1/2 tsp. celery salt
- 4 Tbsp. chicken base ( Better Than Bouillon Roasted)
