Our family loved this. I tripled the recipe for 6 cakes! Perfect! Served with a small amount of ice cream!

The best ever!!!! Going to use this as my go to recipe every time.

The cake tasted quite well. The batter was a bit too thick and so the inside didn’t really ooze out, I will probably add less flour next time.
These delectable little morsels were delish!!!!! Will definitely be making them again.

Really great! Molten lava in the middle.

9 minutes was perfect. DO use a ramekin. Don’t make the mistake of using a muffin tin...like me.

It turned out great, and so easy! Wanted to eat both of them, but the husband had something to say about that. Valentine’s Day, you know.

Amazing!! I used a six oz ramekin. A few tips - use baking spray instead of cooking spray, fill a little more than half way as they rise. I did 15 minutes and let cool for 5.

This was super rich for me..very tasty but a bit too rich. I didnt get the lava effect either, so I stuck some dark chocolate wafers into the center to melt and create the effect.

They tasted ok, but no “lava” came out. Kind of disappointed:(

They taste great, but needed to cook for an additional 4-5 minutes due to my oven.

Easy to make and came out of ramekins easily. Would try cooking 30 seconds to a minute less next time for more molten center.

    Great and easy to make

The center didn’t quite flow out like at a restaurant but it was pretty cool that it was soft in the middle. I did have to go around the edge of the ramekin with a knife so that it would come out. My ramekins were small so the recipe was enough for 3 servings. I thought the chocolate was just right. This was pretty easy to make so I would probably make it again when I wanted a small chocolate fix.

it was good, turned out like it should but was a little too creamy for my taste. Reminded me of a marshmallow almost

Loved it! It’s not quite the lava effect like in a restaurant so I added chocolate fudge on the top. And vanilla ice cream!

Amazing, new Fam favorite! I had a bigger ramekin so I had to cook it a little longer. Ultimate Perfection ... will be making this again

It turned it super good. The only thing is that 13 minutes was too long. I did it for ten the second time and they turned out perfect!

my first lava cake turned out sooo good!!!!!!
    Connie Reid 2 years ago
First attempt cooking for 13 minutes was not good, they were uncooked. Second try at 18 minutes cakes were overdone. So today I will try 15-16 minutes and see how it goes. The flavor of first lot was fantastic even if uncooked.
