    The problem with this recipe is that the directions are MISSING the amount of shortening needed so I can't make them!!! UPDATE: I made them with 1/4 c melted coconut oil. The dough is VERY thick. The recipe says "pour" the batter into a pan, well it's SPREAD into the pan! The bars are very tasty when done, especially if you shake them in some powdered sugar. I have to say that I am NOT impressed with this website. I guess I'll go back to Taste of Home where recipes are proofread before posting!
