Husband loved! Will buy a bigger roast next time so we have leftovers. Didn’t change a thing.

This is great, can do so much with, it add potatoes, carrots and onions for a stew. Serve with mashed potatoes for a dinner or make into sandwiches.

Delicious!! I added a can of mushrooms and 1 cup of beef broth so I would have more gravy. Served with mashed potatoes and a salad. My husband calls this a "stick to your ribs" kind of dinner.

This meal turned out great for me! Not too salty for my taste. Didn’t taste spicy either, I enjoy banana peppers. However, the only thing I did differently was add a cup of water. Kids and I love gravy over everything! Plus for sandwiches... extra gravy please! lol Had enough to meal plan for the week. I purchased CHUCK ROAST BEEF... not ROUND. It’s pricier but so worth it. The meat was very tender and shredded easily using two forks. My roast was 2.5lbs and I used ALL the ingredients in each packet and used 5 pieces of the jarred banana peppers. Done in exactly 8hrs. Definitely making again! Good Luck!

Tasty and easy. I added a bag of baby carrots and an onion to the slow cooker and everything turned out great!

I made this years ago AND forgot about it until I found this recipe. I cooked it on high for 5 hours then added pepperoncini peppers. Then cooked it on low for 3 more hours. Make sure you use McCormicks Au jus packet and hidden valley ranch for the seasonings. Store brands seem to be make it too salty.

This is a winner of all ages! I used 1/2 stick of butter and only 4 of the peppers bc my roast was not 3lbs. Amazing!

Delicious! Used much of the drippings to make gravy, which was to die for, and served with mashed potatoes.

This was fabulous. I️ didn’t have a slow cooker so I️ just used a roasting pan, seared the roast first then put it in the pan and covered it with foil and roasted it at 325 degrees. I️ used about 3/4 of a stick of butter since the roast had some fat of its own. It took about 2 & 3/4 hours to cook thru to make sure the meat was tender. After 2 hours I️ put in 1 large russet potato cut into 8th’s, 4 carrots cut into 4 pieces and one large onion cut into 4 quarters. I️ cooked the roast 45 more minuets. Once done I️ took the liquid and removed as much of the grease as possible. I️ then used a package of brown gravy and added it to the liquid (drippings) and 1 cup of water and cooked it until it boiled. Delicious!
