This was great. Tried on a friend for dinner we loved it, just wish I had used a larger chuck roast so we had more leftovers for sandwiches 😋

This turned out excellent. I used a larger rump roast and an Instant Pot, and dumped an entire jar of sliced pepperoncinis into the pot. Best roast I’ve ever made bar far. You can use the drippings to make a delicious gravy as well, but a little goes a long way when you use a lot of the peppers like I did. As a bonus the leftovers make amazing shredded beef enchiladas for another meal or three.

its a hit! very flavorful and tender cooked mune a little over 8 hours for tenderness (i had 2 roast in one pot) and it is perfect. I also seasoned my meat as usual for extra flavor.

Really tasty! I did brown the meat before placing in the slow cooker and added 1/4 cup beef broth, but only because I wanted extra gravy for mashed potatoes.

It turned out so goooooood! I poured mine over some steamed rice. I am making again tonight and pouring over mashed potatoes ! I am adding more peppers and 1/4 cup of water to make gravy with the broth.

Thanks to Larry, I also seared in cast iron and added cracked black pepper and I also added a cup of beef broth resulting in delicious gravy...

Came out amazing! Added cracked black pepper and garlic powder to meat and then seared in cast iron before crock pot. Would def make again…super easy.

So good! Added 1/2 the jar of pepperocinis and 1/2 cup beef broth and served over mashed Okinawa sweet potatoes. Thank you for the recipe, it is absolutely delicious!!!!

Really good! My family loved it. I did however use a whole stick of butter instead of half a stick as the recipe calls for. I didn’t trust there would be enough “liquid”. I also doubled the amount of pepperoncinis too.

The meat didn’t fall apart. Added the carrots and potatoes 2 hours out from the meat being done as recommended in the notes (actually recommends 1-2 hours) and they’re not soft

Excellent!! And SUPER easy to make! The pepperoncinis add a real kick so if you’re sensitive to spicy food adjust the number you use.
