Description
I love this recipe because it is a healthier meatball sub. There are no breadcrumbs used in the meatballs. Instead I used oatmeal which has a lot less salt, is packed with vitamin B, and has the same great texture. This recipe is quick and easy. I used marinara from a jar, which had very little salt, no added sugar and all fresh ingredients.

Directions
- Place the ground chuck, oats, garlic powder, egg, and chopped onion into a bowl. Use your hands to really combine all the ingredients.
- Roll your meatballs. I weighed each of mine. I ended up with 17 meatballs. The majority weighed 1.27 ounces each. Make them weigh whatever you want. This was a nice size for the bun which held 3 meatballs.
- Pour your jar of sauce in a pot and begin to heat it on the stove on a low temperature.
