  • 2 cups flour (organic all-purpose baking, I use Bob’s Red Mill)
  • 1 cup pure cane sugar (organic)
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda (I use Bob’s Red Mill)
  • 1/2 teaspoon sea salt
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground nutmeg
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground cloves
  • 1 pinch ground allspice
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 eggs (large organic, room temp., I use Organic Valley)
  • 1/3 cup almond milk
  • 1/2 teaspoon lemon juice
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil (See Notes!)
  • 3 cups powdered sugar (organic)
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 tablespoons almond milk (You can use your fave plant-based milk!)
