- 100 grams golden syrup
- 2 large eggs (room temperature – UK large, Canadian ‘Extra Large’; Australian ‘Jumbo’; and US ‘Extra or Very Large’)
- 3 medium bananas (mashed)
- 170 mL buttermilk
- 100 grams toffee (dairy, chopped into small pieces)
- 1 banana (extra, to decorate)
