I've heard of cooking corn easily in the microwave, so I was happy to see this recipe. I had corn in the fridge, and immediately put one in the microwave to try it out. My oven is fairly new and strong, so one ear was done in 4 mins. Steamy hot, and though it didn't slip right out of the husk as described, it was so simple, the silk stayed with the husk not the corn. And it was delicious...my new favorite way to cook corn when I don't need the hassle.
