Description

There is nothing complicated about this luxuriously creamy dish consisting of penne pasta blanketed in peppery Pecorino cream sauce. Milk is called for, though you could substitute a mixture of half and half and heavy cream for even more decadant results. Do coat the pasta in the sauce before serving — it'll soak up the flavor while the al dente pasta finishes cooking a tad in the cream.

  • 50 grams butter
  • 50 grams milk
  • salt (as needed)

    Directions

    1. Bring a stockpot of water to a boil.
    2. Add 1 tablespoon of salt and the pasta and stir.
    3. While the pasta is cooking, melt the butter in a small saucepan, add the pecorino cheese and allow it to melt, adding the milk, stir the sauce well.
