- 170 grams walnuts (minced)
- 500 grams flour
- 2 Tbsp. cornstarch
- 3/4 tsp. salt
- 340 grams unsalted butter (at room temperature)
- 85 grams confectioners' sugar
- 1 Tbsp. vanilla

Directions
- Preheat the oven to 180 Celsius.
- Mix the nuts, flour, cornstarch, and salt together in a bowl. Set aside.
- Cream the butter with the sugar and the vanilla with a mixer until smooth. Add the nuts and dry ingredient mixture on low speed until mixed. Cool the dough until firm (approximately 1 hour).
- Form the dough into balls 2 centimeters in diameter. Place onto parchment paper-lined or silicone baking sheets.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes, until lightly golden and firm to the touch. Let cool for approximately 5 minutes before rolling in confectioners sugar. Let cool completely before serving.

I made these with minced almonds (instead of pecans) which I browned lightly in a black skillet. The result was wonderful!
