Good recipe. I prefer a Mexican lentil soup with crushed tomatoes, however. Also, 3 jalapeños and a tablespoon of chili powder does make it quite spicy. I liked it better when I made it with 2 jalapeños and 1/2-3/4 T. Chili powder.
