- 1 3/4 cups water (or thin coconut milk, adjust as needed)
- 1/4 tsp. shahi jeera (or cumin)
- 1/2 bay leaf
- 5 cloves
- cinnamon stick (Small)
- 3 green cardamoms
- 1 mace (strand of)
- 1 piece star anise
- 3 pepper corn (or little pepper powder)
