- 1/2 onion (a large, diced)
- 5 cloves garlic (smashed)
- 1 tsp. ginger
- 1/2 apple (a medium-size, or pear, 65 grams or a mixture of both, diced)
- 1 1/2 Tbsp. unsalted butter
- 1 Tbsp. curry powder
- 1/4 tsp. ground cumin
- 2 cups chicken stock
- 1/4 cup whole milk
- 3.5 oz. curry (Japanese, cubes, such as this one)
- 0.5 oz. bittersweet chocolate (or 2 tsp of coco powder)
- 17.6 oz. ground beef (or a mixture of ground beef and pork)
- 1/2 onion (medium-sized, very finely diced)
- 2 tsp. worcestershire sauce
- 1 tsp. sea salt
- 1/2 tsp. freshly ground black pepper
- 2 cups panko breadcrumbs (Japanese, or see instruction on how to make your own)
- 4 Tbsp. peanut oil (ONLY if pre-baking)
- 1/2 tsp. sea salt
- 1/4 tsp. freshly ground black pepper
- 1/2 cup all purpose flour (seasoned with a bit of salt’n pepper)
- 2 large eggs (beaten and seasoned with a bit of salt’n pepper)
- vegetable oil (for frying)
- 1/2 green cabbage (Asian)
- 2 Tbsp. sesame (toasted white)
- 2 Tbsp. sesame (toasted black)
- 1 Tbsp. sesame paste (preferably Japanese-type that’s lightly toasted, but tahini could probably work too)
- 1 Tbsp. light soy sauce
- 1/2 Tbsp. mayonnaise
- 1/2 Tbsp. rice vinegar
- 1 tsp. toasted sesame oil
- 1 tsp. sugar
- 1 tsp. ginger (grated)
- 2 Tbsp. water (to dilute)
