- 1 Tbsp. red pepper flakes
- 1 Tbsp. lemon zest (fresh)
- 1 fresh flat leaf parsley (fistful each, chopped, chopped fresh oregano, shredded sweet basil leaves)
- 1 Tbsp. chopped fresh thyme
- 2 Tbsp. ground cumin
- 1 Tbsp. ground turmeric
- 1 lb. cherrystone clams
- 2 Tbsp. saffron threads ([or more])
