- 420 grams egg noodles (fresh flat, I use Fortune brand)
- 300 grams chicken fillet (boneless, cut into small strips)
- 1/2 yellow onion (Vidalia, sliced finely)
- 1 tsp. garlic (finely chopped, garlic, finely chopped)
- beansprouts (Handful of fresh)
- 1/2 cup cabbage (shredded)
- 3 tsp. chilli paste (dried red chilli paste - check out my recipe video)
- 3 Tbsp. light soya sauce (to taste)
- 1/2 cup warm water
- 1 tamarind pulp
- 3 tsp. ketchup
- 1/2 tsp. liquid smoke (optional)
- 2 eggs (lightly beaten)
- 9 Tbsp. oil (divided)
- 1/2 tsp. white pepper
- 1 Tbsp. cornflour (/ cornstarch)
- 1/3 tsp. black pepper (powder)
- 2 Tbsp. light soy sauce
- 2 Tbsp. rice wine (or meat tenderizer may be used instead)
- 1 tsp. garlic paste (/crushed)
