- 7 cups whole milk (or 2%, I slightly preheat the milk)
- 4 large eggs (room temp.)
- 50 grams melted butter
- 2 tsp. salt
- 1 Tbsp. honey
- 4 all purpose flour (+ cups, sifted)
- 1/3 cup rice (washed, drained + 2 cups of water, for cooking the rice)
- 2 lb. ground meat (fresh, I usually mix a pound of turkey with a pound of beef)
- 1 medium onion (finely chopped or ground)
- 3 Tbsp. oil (for sautéing the onions + extra for greasing the fry pan and for frying the blinchiks)
- spices (/ seasoning for the meat)
- 1 tsp. ground black pepper
- 1/2 tsp. cayenne pepper
- 1 tsp. paprika
- 1/2 tsp. curry powder
- 1 tsp. coriander
- 1 tsp. garlic powder (optional)
- 1 Tbsp. dried basil (optional)
- 1 Tbsp. red pepper (optional)
