  • 50 grams cashew nuts (in the recipe they just said chopp, so i roughly chopped but next time i will chop more finer)
  • 50 grams raisins (soaked in a little water to plump)
  • 4 tablespoons mint leaves (finely chopped)
  • 3 green chillies (finely chopped)
  • 30 grams fresh ginger (finely chopped)
  • 1 tablespoon cumin seeds (lightly roasted and ground)
  • 1 teaspoon Garam Masala
  • 500 milliliters beef stock (or water, I used chicken stock)
  • 3 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 2 black cardamom pods (bruised)
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper corns
  • 1 teaspoon cumin seeds
  • 4 cloves
  • 2 bay leaves
  • 3 onions (finely chopped)
  • 1 tablespoon ginger (/garlic paste)
  • 1 tablespoon corriander (powder)
  • 1 teaspoon turmeric
  • 1 teaspoon chilli powder
  • 1 teaspoon Garam Masala
  • 450 grams fresh tomatoes (pureed whole)
  • 2 tablespoons coriander leaves (finely chopped)
