- green peas (: 1 cup, Fresh/frozen/ canned, any type is fine)
- onion (: 1 large)
- tomato (: 1 large)
- 6 cloves
- ginger (: 1 inch piece)
- green chillies (: 1-2)
- tomato puree (: 2 tablespoons)
- fenugreek leaves (: 1 tablespoon)
- cumin seeds (: 1 teaspoon)
- coriander powder (: 1 tablespoon)
- cumin powder (: 1 teaspoon)
- chilli powder (: ½ teaspoon, optional)
- turmeric powder (: ½ teaspoon)
- black pepper (powder: As per taste)
- salt (: As per taste)
- Garam Masala (: a pinch, I don’t like to overload my dishes with Graram masala so put a pinch only)
- cooking oil (: 2 tablespoons, I prefer using mustard oil in most of my Indian curries)
