- 1 cup whole wheat flour
- salt (to taste)
- oil (or ghee for cooking)
- luke warm water
- 2 tsp. fenugreek leaves (kasuri methi)
- 1 tsp. seeds (carom, ajwain, crushed between palms)
- 1 tsp. flax seed (powder)
- 1/4 tsp. turmeric powder
- 1/2 tsp. coriander powder
- 1/2 tsp. chilli powder
- 1/4 cup millet (finger, /ragi flour)
- 1/4 cup millet (pearl, /bajra flour)
- 1/2 cup flour (oatmeal)
- 1 cup maize (/makai flour)

Directions
- To begin making Soft and Spicy Masala Roti Recipe, combine all the ingredients in a large Mixing bowl (except the oil or ghee). Add a little luke-warm water at a time and knead to make a smooth dough.
- Drizzle a teaspoon of oil over the dough and knead for a couple of minutes until smooth and firm. Divide the roti dough into 10 portions.
- Preheat the tawa on medium heat. Roll each portion of the dough, by dusting in flour into a thin circle. The thickness of the masala roti will be based on how thin you can roll it.
