- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 3/4 cup white granulated sugar
- 7 oz. marzipan (* See link in marzipan instructions for recipe)
- 1 cup unsalted butter (226g, 8 oz, or 2 sticks)
- 4 large eggs
- 1 tsp. vanilla extract
- 1 tsp. almond extract
- 1/2 cup Sour Cream
- 10 oz. dark chocolate (finely chopped - I used 72%, approx. 1 ⅔ cups)
- 5 egg whites
- 1 1/3 cups brown sugar
- 1/4 tsp. cream of tartar
- 1 3/4 cups unsalted butter (cut into small cubes and at room temperature, 14 oz, or 3 ½ sticks)
- 2 tsp. vanilla extract
- 1/4 cup cream
- 2 oz. dark chocolate (finely chopped, approx. ⅓ cup)
