This is what happens when you dial Mexican cuisine to 11. Although the ingredient quantities are enough to make soup for a week for me, however the week will be over tomorrow :D

This soup is delicious and filling. I've made it several times and is in our winter time meal rotation.

This is the best soup I've ever made! I subbed masa for corn starch but everything else is there! So much flavor, and always tastes better the next day (-;

I onitted the dairy because of a dairy allergy. It was still very good. Definitely will make again.

I had to add a little more seasoning to it but our family was not disappointed. The cream left it a bit sweeter than expected, thus adding the spices. I would recommend it, it was really good.

Delicious. My jalapeno was VERY hot (you never know) so the avacado, sour cream and cheese helped balance that out. Will recommend!

this turned out so good, I didnt have the mesa but was still good without it. I also went hard on the tooping and included sliced black olives and japapenos, chopped cilantro and tortilla chips along with the cheese and avocado.

We loved it. We omitted the second can of beans and just cooked the meat in a pan, which was a big time saver. We added some cilantro and taco chips sprinkles over it to serve.

My new favorite Mexican soup! I made chicken the day before so it was super easy to pop everything in to the pot on the day I made the soup. The blend of creaminess with Mexican flavors was delish, although I felt it could have used something just a tad more. I saw a review below suggesting lime juice - will give that a try next time - might just be the thing I'm missing. (For spicy lovers, I added a few dashes of Tabasco - yum!)

Fantastic! It snowed yesterday in Denver and the soup was the best. The whole family loved it and will have to make more!!!!

Excellent! Didn’t put in pinto beans just because I didn’t have any. Husband loved it as well.

One of my go-to recipes. I make it a couple times a month. I use a whole Costco rotisserie chicken instead of baking chicken in the oven. It works great.

Excellent! Fairly easy to make in spite of the long list of ingredient. Just the right amount of heat! The creaminess is a good balance to the jalapeños! Love it!
