- 1/4 cup boiling water
- 1 cup unsalted butter (room temperature)
- 1/4 cup confectioners’ sugar (sifted)
- 1 pinch kosher salt
- 12 oz. bittersweet chocolate (70% cacao, melted and cooled)
- flaky sea salt (such as Maldon, for sprinkling)
