- 1 clove garlic (finely chopped, or 1 tsp of jarred minced garlic)
- 2 cups cooked brown rice
- 1 lb. ground turkey (you can substitute a mixture of ground beef and pork if you prefer)

- freshly ground black pepper
- 1 Tbsp. parsley flakes (dried)
- 2 whole celery stalks (finely chopped)
- 1 whole green pepper (finely chopped)
- 4 cups tomato puree
- 1 whole apple (peeled, cored, and chopped)
- 1/2 cup sour cream (plus more for garnish)
