- 1 cup low sodium chicken broth (homemade or purchased, or braising liquid from pot roast)
- 1/2 cup maple syrup (Organic, or honey)
- 2 Tbsp. red wine vinegar
- coarse salt

- 3 Tbsp. unsalted butter
- 1/2 tsp. rosemary
- 4 orange peel (ribbons, white pit removed)
- 2 Tbsp. orange liqueur (such as Grand Marnier)
- 2 star anise
- 1 cup grapes (seedless, optional)
- 1/2 cup salted pistachios (roasted and slightly)
