- 3 leaves
- 3 cloves chopped garlic

- 2 Tbsp. olive oil
- 6 apples (large, MacIntosh is a good choice for applesauce)
- 1 pinch salt
- 1/4 cup maple syrup (you can substitute brown sugar if you prefer)
- 1/4 cup apple cider vinegar
- 1/2 tsp. canela
- 1/4 tsp. nutmeg
- cloves (pinch ground optional)
