- 4 cups water
- 3 Tbsp. cooking oil
- 800 grams sweet potatoes (mashed)
- 8 red chilies
- 1 small onion
- 5 cloves garlic
- 2 inches roots
- 1 Tbsp. galangal powder
- 1 inch roots
- 1 tsp. turmeric powder
- 50 grams dried shrimp (soak in warm water until soft)
- 70 grams dry roasted peanuts
- 1 Tbsp. sugar (or more to taste)

- 2 hard boiled eggs (cut into slices)
- calamansi limes (unchecked▢, I use regular limes)
- green chilies
- jalapeno peppers
