- 1 yellow onion (large, roughly chopped)
- 3 cloves garlic (roughly chopped)
- 1 inch ginger (knob, chopped)
- 1 thai chile (bird, chopped)
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1/2 tsp. paprika
- 1/2 tsp. powdered turmeric
- 1/2 tsp. black pepper
- 1/2 tsp. coriander powder
- 1 Tbsp. white poppy seeds (soaked in 3 tbs water)
- 14.5 oz. diced tomatoes (organic)
- 1 cup water
- 3 Tbsp. coconut cream (from top of a refrigerated can of full fat coconut milk)
- cilantro leaves (optional garnish, chopped)
