Delicious recipe, however it took much, much longer than I would have thought because I had to cook in advance the yellow split peas and create mash potatoes in advance. Potentially next time I will experiment to swap in some canned lentils. At least it was worth it! I added some fire roasted diced tomatoes for extra flavor and it worked well.

this is the fourth time i have made this recipe and it never disappoints! make sure to have enough garam masala, sadly I was running low, it was still quite tasty!
