    turned out tasty. Just wondering if the dough was supposed to be really thick like a cookie dough?

    Gave this a try to take camping. It makes enough for a whole family reunion so cut this recipe in half (or quarters). It was everything I want my waffles to be. The recipe was easy to put together (I was juggling a baby while doing so and accidentally added about 2x as much yeast as called for). The waffles were fluffy on the inside and crispy and golden on the outside. Its a keeper. I'll be making these and sharing the recipe repeatedly.
