Very good. Tasted great but tomato sauce was a little more than we prefer so next time will reduce. Overall, delicious. Thanks for recipe.

I came to the site trying to find something close to the delicious tasty packages of Madras lentils that you usually find in stores; this is exactly it and it turned out to be incredibly satisfying and inexpensive, it’s also very nutritious. I used a can of small red kidney beans and some dry brown lentils adding the ingredients as indicated using my instaPot. The results are amazing and it’s certainly a keeper to share and enjoy many times to come. I’d suggest tuning down the chili powder and smoked paprika just by a tiny bit if you are not so prone to spicy, otherwise it will be perfect as is, paired with Basmati rice and you have a complete meal that is totally fulfilling with authentic flavors and texture!
