- 2/3 cup chicken stock (or low-sodium broth)
- 1/4 cup sake
- 1 1/2 Tbsp. sugar
- 1 Tbsp. toasted sesame oil
- 1 tsp. bean sauce (chile-, such as Lee Kum Kee Toban Djan)
- 3 scallions (minced, plus thinly sliced scallions, for garnish)
- 4 garlic cloves (minced)
- 1 1/2 Tbsp. peeled fresh ginger (minced)

It turned out great! I've trying to find a recipe for this dish and this comes very close to the flavors I experienced. I will definitely keep it because none of the nearby Chinese restaurants offers this dish.
