- 4 lb. chuck roast (before trimming, fat trimmed, cut apart as needed to cut out the fat)
- 2 Tbsp. steak rub (for rubbing the meat before browning, There are a lot of good brands, but I love Szeged Steak Rub.)
- 1 tsp. onion powder

Sooooo good!!!! I added caramelized onions, used portobello mushrooms & followed the recipe. After the first I’ve made it several times, we love!!!
